Notice Regarding the Status and Completion of Acquisition of Treasury Stock
(Acquisition of Treasury Stock Pursuant to the Articles of Incorporation in Accordance with Article 459, Paragraph 1

Nippon Paint Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “NPHD”) hereby announces the status of its acquisition of treasury stock, conducted pursuant to the provisions of the Articles of Incorporation in accordance with Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act of Japan, as outlined below. NPHD also announces that, with the completion of the acquisition detailed below, the repurchase of treasury stock has now been concluded.
