JUB Celebrates 150 Years Through Open House Events, Paint Donation Campaign, and Regional Community Initiatives

Overview
JUB celebrated its 150th anniversary under the banner “150 Years of Colorful Stories.” Across Slovenia and the wider region, the company organized events and initiatives that brought together customers, partners, and local communities. These activities highlighted JUB’s long-standing commitment to creativity, collaboration, and giving back to society.
JUB is considered the oldest manufacturer of wall paints in Slovenia and the entire region. The production of mineral paints in Dol pri Ljubljani, where the company’s headquarters are still located today, began in 1875. Today, JUB is an international company that exports products to more than 30 countries across Europe and the world.
The JUB Group consists of 12 companies in Slovenia and Europe. The parent company, JUB d.o.o., headquartered in Dol pri Ljubljani, connects all its subsidiaries in Slovenia and abroad.
The JUB Group employs around 800 people, with more than 470 in Slovenia and 330 in its foreign subsidiaries. We have six production plants, three in Slovenia and three in Serbia. We export and sell more than 75 percent of our products under our own brand to foreign markets.
JUB Open House Day
As part of JUB’s 150th anniversary celebrations, the company organized an open house day at its headquarters in May 2025. They welcomed more than 160 contractors and retail representatives, arranging a tour of JUB along with various workshops that showcased their products and services.
The event provided a great opportunity for informal networking, accompanied by good food and drinks.
JUB’s Charity Paint Campaign
In celebration of its 150th anniversary, JUB connected color with charity by launching the JUPOL Malaton campaign in May 2025, which collected paint donations for a worthy cause.
The mission of this campaign was to spread the joy of creativity while uniting people to help those in need. JUB and its customers gathered an impressive 1,000 liters of JUPOL Classic paint for a non-profit humanitarian organization, which will use the paint to renovate several of its facilities.
During the JUPOL Malaton campaign, customers could either purchase any JUPOL brand product or participate in the online quiz titled “150 Years of Colorful Stories.” Participants made a direct contribution to the charitable goal of collecting paint for those in need. To celebrate, JUB awarded 150 prizes, with the grand prize being a trip for two to the Maldives.
Celebrating 150 Years Across the Region
JUB Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the mother company JUB Slovenia marked the second half of the year with events commemorating this milestone.
Throughout 2025, numerous sales, marketing, and charitable activities took place, supporting schools, hospitals, associations, and animal shelters. To honor 150 years, JUB gave back to the community with at least 150 donations of its materials.
