Notice of Completion of Okayama Plant
Nippon Paint Automotive Coatings Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Hirakata-City, Osaka; “NPAC”; President and Representative Director: Satoshi Nishimura), a group company of Nippon Paint Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo), which produces automotive coatings, will announce the completion of the construction of its Okayama Plant (hereinafter referred to as the "new plant") on February 7, 2023.
This new plant is located in Shoo-cho, Katsuta-gun, Okayama.
Productivity and safety will be further improved at the new plant, and ESG will be taken into account during plant operations to conserve energy and respond to low-carbon measures throughout the production process.
Full-fledged operations of the new plant are scheduled around the fall of 2023.
Okayama Plant Factory Building

Location: 33-1 Oohiradai, Shoo-cho, Katsuta-gun, Okayama
Site area: 81,600 m2
Floor area: 4,700 m2
Buildings: Factory building (three-story steel frame building), hazardous substance warehouse (single-story steel frame building), business operations building (two-story steel frame building)
Production item: Automotive coatings (topcoat, water-borne primer, and plastic parts paints)
Production capacity: 4,500 tons/year
Investment: 4.4 billion yen
NPAC will supply high-quality products that meet customers’ needs by utilizing the new plant and conducting management that reflects ESG and the SDGs with the goal of becoming the leading company in the automotive coatings business.
