Yuichiro Wakatsuki began his career at The Industrial Bank of Japan, Limited (currently Mizuho Bank, Ltd.) and Schroders Japan Limited, and in 2000 joined Merrill Lynch Japan Securities Co., Ltd. (currently BofA Securities Japan Co., Ltd.). For a number of years, he led the company’s M&A advisory services, including M&A strategy and fund procurement of clients, as the Head of Japan Mergers and Acquisitions, Head of Japan Investment Banking, Director, and Vice Chairman. In 2019, he joined Nippon Paint Holdings and in 2020 was appointed Senior Managing Corporate Officer and CFO, overseeing corporate planning, finance & accounting, public relations, investor relations, and M&A. He was appointed Representative Executive Officer & Co-President of Nippon Paint Holdings on April 28, 2021 and Director, Representative Executive Officer & Co-President in March 2022.

Wee Siew Kim was appointed as the Representative Executive Officer & Co-President on April 28, 2021 and as a Director of Nippon Paint Holdings in March 2022. He is concurrently the Group Chief Executive Officer of NIPSEA Group, a wholly owned partner company of the Nippon Paint Group. Prior to his current position, he was Deputy CEO and President (Defense Business) of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. He started his career with Singapore Technologies in 1984 as an engineer at Singapore Aircraft Industries Pte. Ltd., the predecessor company of Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd. He was educated at Raffles Institution, followed by the Imperial College of Science and Technology in London where he received a Bachelor of Science (Aeronautical Engineering) (Hons) degree. This was followed by an MBA at Stanford University. He was a Member of Parliament in Singapore from 2001 to 2011.

Eric Chung is the CEO of Nippon Paint China, currently heading all its business units in Greater China. He held managerial roles in two subsidiary companies of Master Kong Holdings Co. Ltd. before joining Nippon Paint China in 2007. Armed with a clear business vision, he has spearheaded company-wide transformation in areas of corporate strategy, image, branding and product technology. He has also expanded Nippon Paint’s scope, overseeing its evolution from paint manufacturer to a provider of overall coating solutions. Under his leadership, Nippon Paint China has achieved more than double digit growth for the past 10 consecutive years.

Tay Lim Heng joined PT Nipsea Paint and Chemicals Indonesia in March 2023 and was appointed President Director in September 2023. Prior to joining PT Nipsea Paint and Chemicals, Tay held several executive positions, including CEO of Keppel Integrated Engineering Ltd, a diversified environment engineering company, CEO of Sino Singapore Tianjin Eco City Investment and Development Pte Ltd working on a project to build an eco-city that is green, smart, and sustainable, as well as Managing Director of Keppel Urban Solutions a company in the Keppel Corporation Group involved in end-to-end township development. Before the private sector, Tay served in the public sector. Among the appointments held, he was a Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of National Development (Singapore), Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore and he also served in the Ministry of Defence.
Tay has Bachelor (Honours) and Master degrees in Engineering Science and Economics from Oxford University and attended the Advance Management Program in Harvard Business School.

Wang Chyang is the Managing Director of the Nippon Paint Singapore Group, which comprises Myanmar, Singapore, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka. In his 35 years with the company, Wang has successfully integrated new businesses and markets into the Group, expanding the footprint of Nippon Paint Singapore in the region. Wang is also concurrently the head of Group Protective Coatings (PC) and is responsible to grow the protective coatings business in Asia. Wang’ s inquisitive leadership style allows him to strategize effectively and keep the team motivated to achieve united goals, driven strongly by NIPSEA values.

Yaw Seng Heng has been a part of the Nippon Paint Group for close to three decades and is known for being a visionary leader who embodies the company’s spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation. He has led Nippon Paint Malaysia Group to achieve multiple successes from overseas expansion to moving into new locations including Pakistan, Bangladesh and Turkey and managing the operations of the Decorative Segments for Thailand and Indonesia. Under his astute leadership, Nippon Paint Malaysia Group was also able to expand beyond paint & coatings segment such as SAF through integration with Selleys and the latest acquisition of Vital Technical.

Patrick Houlihan joined DuluxGroup in 1989 and has been CEO since 2007 and also Chairman since 2019. Prior to becoming CEO, Patrick progressed through a succession of senior leadership roles across areas including R&D, sales, marketing and general management. Patrick is also the Chairman of the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, on the Board of the Australian Government’s Industry Innovation and Science Australia, on the Advisory Council of St Mary’s College at The University of Melbourne and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He also represents DuluxGroup on the Business Council of Australia and Manufacturing Australia. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) and an MBA.

Tayfun Kucukoglu is the General Manager of Betek Boya Group. He has held various roles within Betek Boya, where he was a founding member in 1988 and is currently part of the Board of Directors since 1995. He also co-founded and helped make Filli Boya the market leader in 2001. He is acting as a pioneer member of the ETICS category in Turkiye. Kucukoglu is part of the founding committee at the Paint Manufacturers Association (BOSAD) established in 2003. Between 2015 and 2017, Kucukoglu served as the Chairman of the Board of Heat, Water, Sound and Fire Insulators Association (iZODER). Other positions he has helmed includes being the Chairman of the Board of Directors at IMSAD (Construction Materials Industry Association) since 2020.

Richard Stuckes has broad international experience and expertise in consumer facing businesses, built over a 25 year career working in the UK, Europe, Asia and the United States. Following his position as Management Director at Philips Lighting overseeing the Philips business in regions including the UK, Spain and Portugal and at ICI Paints (now AkzoNobel) supervising the business in regions including Europe, the Middle East, and China, he joined DuluxGroup in his current role as COO in April 2017. He was appointed CEO of Cromology in June 2023.

Saso has been CEO of JUB since January 2013. Since joining JUB in 2003 he has progressed through a series of roles across general management, production and business development, amassing deep industry experience. Sašo has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters of Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Ljubljana, and also a Bachelor of Production Management from the University of Maribor.

Karl Altergott has been the President and CEO at Dunn-Edwards for the past 12 years. After joining the company, he immediately focused on projects to achieve operational efficiency and provide superior customer service. Under his guidance and support, the company constructed a fully-automated manufacturing plant to expand production capabilities, modernized its retail outlets, and launched a Color Advisor program to assist customers with color selection. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Management.

After joining the former Nippon Paint Co., Ltd. in 1990, Satoshi Nishimura became an engineer working on the development of a variety of paint products and surface treatment products. In 2009, he was appointed General Manager of Development in Shanghai, China, where he was responsible for the expansion of business in China. Following the establishment of Nippon Paint Surf Chemicals (NPSU) in 2015 with the transition of Nippon Paint to a holding company structure, he was appointed Division Director, Corporate Management. In 2018, he became the Representative Director & President. In 2023, he was appointed the Representative Director & President of Nippon Paint Automotive Coatings Co., Ltd. with a concurrent appointment as the Non-Executive Director of NPSU. He is pursuing the provision of value by reinforcing the collaboration between the surface treatment business and the automotive coatings business.

Masuo Kida joined the former Nippon Paint Co., Ltd. (NPTU) after graduating from the Graduate School of Meiji University in 1988. He was an engineer in broad range of areas in the automotive coatings business, including engineering services for customers and the development and design of paint, as an engineering manager and in other roles for 25 years until 2013. He was subsequently transferred to the Decorative Paints Division and appointed Division Director, Decorative Paints in 2014. Following the shift to a holding company structure in 2015, he was appointed Managing Director of the Board of the new Nippon Paint Co., Ltd., which is the decorative paints business unit of the Nippon Paint Group. Since his appointment as the Representative Director & President in 2019, he has been committed to using products to create new value with the goal of providing solutions to various social issues.

Takeshi Shiotani joined the former Nippon Paint Co., Ltd. in 1990. After nine years each in sales in the industrial coatings business and the automotive coatings business, he moved to the Corporate Planning Department where he was involved with overseas strategies for the automotive coatings business. In 2014, he was appointed the President of Nippon Paint (USA) Inc. After he returned to Japan in 2017, he became the Representative Director & President of Nippon Paint Industrial Coatings Co., Ltd. (NPIU) and supervised a broad range of businesses. From 2022 to 2023, concurrently serving as the Representative Director & President of Nippon Paint Marine Coatings Co., Ltd. (NPMC), he was committed to creating value by mobilizing the Nippon Paint Group’s comprehensive strengths, ranging from industrial coatings to marine coatings. With the appointment as the CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) of Japan Group in 2024, he now serves concurrently as the Representative Director & President of NPIU and the COO, Japan Group.

After joining the former Nippon Paint Co., Ltd. in 1992, Kenji Tsuge engaged in the product development and engineering services related to surface treatment agents as an engineer. In 2008, he was seconded to Toyota Motor Corporation. In 2012, he was appointed Vice President of Nippon Paint (Chongqing) Chemicals Co., Ltd. in Chongqing, China, where he led the initiatives for business expansion in China and training of local employees. After the establishment of Nippon Paint Surf Chemicals (NPSU) in 2015, he served as General Manager, New Business Development, and General Manager, Technology Department, before assuming his appointment as Division Director, Corporate Planning, where he was engaged in developing business plans. Since his appointment as the Representative Director & President of NPSU in 2023, he has been committed to the expansion of the surface treatment business on a global scale based on collaboration among the Nippon Paint Group’s companies in Japan, China, and Korea.

After graduating from the University of Malaya with a degree in Science (Physics), Gladys Goh started her career at Unilever Malaysia and gained experience as a Group Brand Manager at Coca-Cola Far East Limited.
She joined Nippon Paint Malaysia in 2006 and rose to the rank of Group General Manager of Nippon Paint Malaysia Group, where she oversaw operations in over six countries within Asia and led the brand’s expansion into emerging markets such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Philippines. In 2020, she assumed the role of Senior Vice-President, Strategic Innovation & Marketing at NIPSEA Group, overseeing Marketing, Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility, Color Leadership, and strategic initiatives. In 2021, she was tasked with bringing business transformation to Nippon Paint Marine Coatings as Deputy President, and was appointed as the President of Nippon Paint Marine Coatings Co., Ltd. (NPMC) in 2024.
